LONDON, UK (November 30, 2011) - Sony Pictures Television (SPT) today announced it is to start development on a complete season of 60 original Russian episodes of the local adaptation of Everybody Loves Raymond (known locally as The Voronins). This marks the first time a full season of the format will be written and produced outside the US by continuing the storyline beyond the US original.

CULVER CITY, CA (November 29, 2011) - Angela Galgani has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Publicity for Sony Pictures Worldwide Marketing & Distribution, it was announced today by Andre Caraco, Executive Vice President of Motion Picture Publicity, to whom she will report. INDIA / ROMANIA (November 29, 2011) - Sony Pictures Television (SPT) has sold the format for its entertaining, high-octane, multi-topic magazine talk show, The Dr. Oz Show to broadcasters in India and Romania. In India, general entertainment channel COLORS has commissioned the hit talk show format, which marks the first time a US talk show format will be produced in India and the first formatted medical show to air in the region. LONDON, UK (November 03, 2011) - Producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli today presented the cast of the 23rd James Bond adventure, entitled SKYFALL. The film, from Albert R. Broccoli's Eon Productions, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, and Sony Pictures Entertainment, is directed by Academy Award® winner Sam Mendes and stars Daniel Craig, who returns for his third film as James Bond 007. The screenplay is written by Neal Purvis & Robert Wade and John Logan.

CULVER CITY, CA (November 03, 2011) - Sony Pictures Animation has set screenwriters Jay Scherick & David Ronn to write the screenplay for an all-new POPEYE animated feature, based on the iconic characters of comic strip and cartoon fame. POPEYE is the second project for Scherick and Ronn with Sony Pictures Animation following their success with this summer's blockbuster THE SMURFS, which has grossed more than $550 million worldwide since its July 29 opening. Sony Pictures Animation and Arad Productions are producing the stereoscopic 3D animated feature.

MIAMI, FL and SAO PAULO, Brazil (October 31, 2011) - Crackle, a multi-platform video entertainment network, today announced it will launch in Brazil in the first quarter of 2012, becoming the first online network to offer ad-supported, free-to-consumer full-length movies and television series in Latin America. The network will be overseen by Jose Rivera-Font, vice president and general manager, Crackle, Latin America and Brazil.
