NEW YORK (February 18, 2014) - Sony Pictures Classics announced today that they have acquired all rights in North America, Latin America, Australia and New Zealand to Zhang Yimou's COMING HOME starring Gong Li. The film, currently in post-production, is produced by Bill Kong and LeVision Pictures' Zhang Zhao. Lava Bear Films' David Linde executive produced.

Berlin, Germany (February 8, 2014) - Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions has announced that they have taken all rights in international English-speaking territories, Latin America and other key European territories to the film THE END OF THE TOUR, which stars Jason Segel and Jesse Eisenberg and is directed by James Ponsoldt (THE SPECTACULAR NOW). The script was penned by playwright Donald Margulies, who adapted David Lipsky's book Although Of Course You End Up Becoming Yourself: A Road Trip With David Foster Wallace.

New York, NY (February 6, 2014) - The Dreamcatchers announced today that Sony Pictures Classics have acquired all US and Latin American rights to Berlin competition title, ALOFT, written and directed by Claudia Llosa. Producers on the film include Jose María Morales on behalf of WANDA, Ibón Cormenzana on behalf of ARCADIA, Phyllis Laing on behalf of BUFFALO GAL and Jerome Vidal on behalf of NOODLES. This is Llosa's first English Language film.

Park City, Utah (January 22, 2014) - Sony Pictures Classics announced this morning that it has secured worldwide rights to Martha Stephens & Aaron Katz's bawdy road trip comedy LAND HO!, which premiered on Sunday at the Sundance Film Festival. SPC plans to release the film nationwide in 2014.

New York, NY (January 18, 2014) - Sony Pictures Classics announced today that they have acquired all North American, Australian, New Zealand and German rights to Damien Chazelle's feature WHIPLASH. The film, which played as the 2014 Sundance Film Festival's opening night film, received rave reviews on Thursday.
