Working closely with Greenstein, and reporting to Domestic Marketing President Dwight Caines, Birch will return to Sony Pictures, where she spent 12 years serving in senior marketing capacities.

The companies are co-financing and producing the movie which is expected to release in 2017, in time for the original films' 10^th anniversary. A distribution deal was announced today by the film's producers with SPC acquiring distribution rights in North America, Latin America, Germany, Australia/New Zealand, Scandinavia and Asia.

MONDAY, JANUARY 25, 2016 - Park City, Utah - Sony Pictures Classics announced today, on the eve of the film's world premiere at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival, that they have acquired worldwide rights to the first female driven Wall Street film, EQUITY.
