    NEW YORK (NOVEMBER 1, 2016) - Sony Pictures Classics announced today that they have acquired the North American and Latin American rights to Academy Award® winning filmmaker Michael Haneke's HAPPY END. Written and directed by Haneke, the French production wrapped in late August.

    "All around us, the world, and we, in its midst, blind." The film is a snapshot from the life of a bourgeois European family.
