CULVER CITY, CA (July 11, 2011) - Scott Landsman has been named vice president of U.S. comedy development for Sony Pictures Television (SPT), it was announced today by Glenn Adilman, executive vice president, U.S. comedy development, SPT, to whom he reports.

In this role, Landsman will foster relationships with writers and creative talent and supervise new concepts from the idea stage through series launch for both cable and network programming.

CULVER CITY, Calif., July 5, 2011 - Adam Sandler will voice the lead role of Dracula in Sony Pictures Animation's 3D family comedy Hotel Transylvania, it was announced today by Bob Osher, president, Sony Pictures Digital Productions, and Michelle Raimo-Kouyate, president of production, Sony Pictures Animation. The film will be released on September 21, 2012, by Columbia Pictures.

CULVER CITY, Calif., June 29, 2011 Chris Hemsworth is attached to star in Columbia Pictures' Shadow Runner, it was announced today by Hannah Minghella, president of Production for Columbia Pictures. The forthcoming motion picture will be produced by Tripp Vinson and Beau Flynn of Contrafilms, and Will Ward of ROAR. The film is based on an original idea by Hossein Amini, who will executive produce the project.

Culver City, CA - June 29, 2011 - Sony 3D Technology Center today announced that it is expanding its 3D Master Class, which offers professional training in the tools and techniques for making 3D content, in collaboration with the Directors Guild of America and the Motion Pictures Editor's Guild. The two guilds join the International Cinematographer's Guild in offering member training opportunities at the Sony Pictures Studios facility, which is run by Sony Corporation of America.

Big Man Japan was a breakthrough hit in Japan in 2007 and a cult hit in the United States in 2009. Phil Hay & Matt Manfredi will write the new adaptation.
