Based on the Scholastic book series written by R.L. Stine and created by Parachute Press, the Disney+ television series centers on a group of high school friends who accidentally unearth a nightmare for themselves as they discover a sinister secret hiding in their town. Three decades after a teenage boy named Harold Biddle passed away, the friends throw a Halloween party in his old house, prompting a new haunted reality to come to life. As the kids work together to save their town, they find out some chilling discoveries about their own families.
