In this coming-of-age story set in 1920s Stockholm, Roland (Jesper Salén, Evil) is a young troublemaker who has become an outcast to not only his family, but his schoolmates. Raised by a Jewish mother (Basia Frydman, The Stig-Helmer Story) and a socialist father (Stellan Skarsgård, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, 2011), Roland defends himself from bullies by creating slingshots made from condoms he stole from his mother’s pharmacy. While Roland learns to toughen up from his boxer brother, he starts hanging out with the wrong people and finds himself in trouble with the law. Newly remastered.
