3:10 TO YUMA

Already saddled with the twin burdens of drought and debt, when small-time rancher Dan Evans (Van Heflin) needs $200 for a new well, an answer to his problem materializes in escaped outlaw Ben Wade (Glenn Ford). Accepting the job that no one else wants, Evans tracks down Wade and prepares to deliver him to an Arizona prison. Complications arise when Wade's offer of $10,000 to let him go free has the rancher's wife begging her husband to take the money. Yet, the completion of his sworn duty becomes a matter of principle for Evans as he fights back repeated attacks by Wade's murderous henchmen to see that the outlaw is on the 3:10 train to Yuma.
