Tahra Grant is Executive Vice President and Chief Communications Officer for Sony Pictures Entertainment. She is responsible for the development and implementation of SPE’s overall communications strategies and oversees the company’s media relations, internal communications, crisis/issues management and thought-leadership strategies. 

Grant joined SPE in 2016 after serving as a Vice President at New York-based strategic communications firm Rubenstein Communications where she represented prominent New York institutions and clients across film, television, and arts and culture in corporate communications, publicity, and strategic counsel capacities. 

Prior to her promotion to EVP and CCO at SPE, Grant served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications for the Motion Picture Group where she made invaluable contributions to some of the studio’s most successful and enduring films including Once Upon A Time in… Hollywood, Where The Crawdads Sing, the Spider-Verse franchise, the Jumanji franchise, Little Women, the Tom Holland-led Spider-Man franchise, the Venom franchise, The Woman King, the Ghostbusters franchise, The Equalizer franchise, It Ends With Us, and countless others.
