Drew Shearer
Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
Drew Shearer serves as Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer for Sony Pictures Entertainment.
Shearer is responsible for all of the Company’s financial affairs and oversees SPE’s information technology and procurement teams.
Previously, Shearer served as Executive Vice President & Group Divisional Chief Financial Officer. Serving in this role since 2014, Shearer oversaw the global business unit financial support for the operating units and corporate departments - financial planning and decision support, financial analysis, budgeting/forecasting, and support of the company’s mergers & acquisitions and accounting teams. Key business lines within these divisions include content development, content production, marketing, releasing/licensing/sales, linear and digital networks.
From 2008 to 2014 Shearer served in this role for the global television business including direct supervision of global accounting/financial reporting and business development.
From 2000 to 2008, Shearer served in a similar role for the United States television business.
Shearer joined Sony Pictures Entertainment in 1996 as Director of internal audit. Previously, he worked for the Audit practice of Deloitte & Touche LLC in Detroit, Michigan. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan University.
